Met Joshie at 10:45pm at AMK central last night for the start of our night adventure. We were supposed to meet earlier but strong rain and a little mis-communication resulted in Joshie waiting at AMK central mos burger and me at hougang ave 2 block 627(the least you could have done was answer your hp right???).
Part 1
Cycled down to Presbyterian High and the journey begin exactly at 11:30pm. Went up Yio Chu Kang Road and down Upper Thomson Road towards Yishun, all the time Joshie leading(hey, if he was riding my wonderful bike i would be leading okie!!!). Took a break along Upper Thomson 7-11. Then up the long road and when we reached Yishun, rain fell again(yes, again. we braved the rain all along when we were trying to meet up at AMK central in the first place...). So obviously i got drenched while good ol' Joshie only got wet. Thanks alot bro.. -_- Hehz...
Part 2
After harbouring at a bus-stop for fifteen minutes we decided that we won't gonna wait forever. So brilliantly, we flew down towards Khatib Camp. The slopes were great. The wind, the rain, the mud, the sand, the sweat, what more could a guy ask for??? =P Miraculously, we didn't get knocked down and we reached Northpoint. From there, the temptation from Mac was too great to resist and we proceeded down towards Chong Pang as Northpoint's one was closed. Upon reaching, to our horror, Chong Pang's one was closed too. Darn. We had marshed potato and byrani rice at 7-11(again... notice how useful these shops really are??? =P) in the end.
Part 3
With still a drizzle, we set our for our objective. Sembawang park. We cycled down and decided to turn into a small park just before hitting Sembawang Road not knowing where it will lead. 2800 metres later, we were staring at the most beautiful sight ever. The sea with all its lights, thanks to malaysia. Time check, 2:30am. It was a long journey but the breeze and the atmosphere made it all worth it. Plus the small adventure we had venturing through unfamiliar places and finally reaching our goal.
Part 4
After a mini celebration, we set out for home. Decided to go back thru a different route. Passed-by numerous nice houses and one especially memorable one(right Joshie???). Up Sembawang Road and by then, i was half-dead. =P Thanks to my wonderful bike again(need i say more??? =P). So it was a slow ride back towards AMK where Joshie headed for home. =) Final time check at AMK, 4:00am.
What an adventure right. Next stop: AMK to Changi. Just kidding... =P Thanks bud for a great night.
